For 20 years the documentarist Doug Block made wedding videos. Known for his intimate filming style he always got attached to the couples during filming but never saw them again. Many years and 112 weddings later, Block decided to look for some of his favorite couples to find out what happened to them and their marriages. Mixing images from the actual ceremonies, with current interviews with the couples, the documentary explores the themes of love, commitment, friendship and fidelity.
Doug Block
Nasceu em 1953 nos Estados Unidos. Experiente e premiado diretor e produtor de documentários, fundou o site The D-Word, que reúne mais de 2 mil cineastas de mais de 79 países. Estreou na direção de longas com The Heck with Hollywood (1991). Em 1999, lançou Home Page, documentário indicado ao prêmio Emmy. Dirigiu ainda 51 Birch Street (2006), The Kids Grow Up (2009) e The Children Next Door (2012).
