​Delphine is 23. The daughter of a farmer, she loves the atmosphere of the countryside and working with the land, but the limitations of provincial life end up leading her to Paris. There she meets Carole, a married woman involved in the feminist movement. Her liberty and independence win Delphine over, who for the first time finds herself in love with a woman. The love between them turns Carole’s life upside down. When Delphine is forced to return to her town, Carole decides to follow her. But in the country, the couple will have to face a very different reality. Locarno and Toronto 2015.​

Catherine Corsini

​Born in France in 1956. She studied at the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Paris, where she had lessons with masters like Antoine Vitez and Michel Bouquet. In 1987 she directed her first feature film, Poker, which was followed by Interdit d’Amour (1992). Lovers (1994) and Replay (1998) both went to Cannes. She also directed Ambitious (2006), Leaving (2008) and Three Worlds (2012), shown at Un Certain Regard, Cannes. ​
