​Pierre and Manon are poor. For pleasure, they make documentaries with no budget and, to make ends meet, they work temporary jobs. One day Pierre meets Elizabeth, a young intern who becomes his lover. Despite being in love, he does not want to leave Manon – he wants to keep both relationships. On the day that Elizabeth tells her lover that Manon is also having an affair, Pierre discovers that Manon is his one true love. By director Philippe Garrel, who also directed Regular Lovers and Jealousy. Opening film at the Director’s Fortnight 2015.​

Philippe Garrel

​Born in France in 1948. He directed his first short film, Une plume pour Carole (1968), at age of 13. In 1964 he made what he considers his true debut, Les enfants désaccordés, followed by several other short films. Amongst his more recent films are Regular Lovers (Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival 2005), Frontier of the Dawn (Cannes 2008), A Burning Hot Summer (Venice 2011) and Jealousy (Venice 2013).​
