Nader is a teenage boy of Egyptian descent. Born and raised in Rome, he sees little to no sense in the traditions his family insists on following. Conflicts at home get worse when his parent oppose his relationship with Brigitte, an Italian girl. Decided to live out his passion, Nader leaves home to live on the cold streets of the city. As he commits a series of petty felonies alongside his friend Stefano, he will try to recover his own identity. Special Jury Prize at the Rome Festival 2013.
Claudio Giovannesi
Born in Italy, in 1978. Graduated in direction at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome in 2005. Between 2011 and 2004 he worked at the TV show Blob, broadcast by Rai 3. In 2009, he directed his first feature-length film, La casa sulle nuvole, featured in several festivals and produced by Rai Cinema and Shooting Stars. In the same year he made the documentary Fratelli d’Italia.
