A behind-the-scenes portrait of Brazilian ballet star Marcelo Gomes. Widely considered the greatest partner of his generation, every ballerina wants to dance with him. From his struggle to overcome bullying as a boy studying ballet in Rio de Janeiro to the top of the ballet world, and also showing his complicated relationship with his father, the film takes us on Marcelo's journey from the heart of the Amazon to the most important ballet stages in Brazil, Russia, Japan, Ukraine and Greece. Though at 37, he has to manage injury in order to continue doing what he loves.
