The documentary narrated by Jodie Foster about the first female filmmaker Alice Guy-Blaché (1873-1968), is the celebration of a woman who was there at the beginning of moving pictures, at the intersection of innovation, technology, and storytelling that later became the entertainment industry as we know it today. To tell this story, director Pamela B. Green used a archive footage and interviews with many film stars, such as director Agnès Varda, writer Diablo Cody and actors Geena Davis and Ben Kingsley. From New York, Pamela B. Green founded PIC, an entertainment and motion design boutique, in 2005. She is held in hight respect for her knowledge of graphic design, animation and archival rare stock footage research. She has produced main titles, created and advised on internal story sequences and marketing campaigns for films such as the Bourne film series and The Muppets.
