This non-fictional feature film from the awarded director Robert Greene takes place in Bisbee, an eccentric city in Arizona, just a few kilometers away from the Mexican border. A mix of collaborative documentary, western and musical elements, the film follows the members of a community during the darkest moment in their city. In 1917 almost two thousand immigrant
miners, who were on strike fighting for better work
conditions, were ambushed by their armed neighbors and abandoned in the desert to die. This event is known as the Bisbee deportation.Sundance 2018.
