The real story of an American hero. In the 70s, Ron Stallworth is the first Afro-American police officer in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to stand out, he embarks on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young police officer soon is able to recruit seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman. Together they intend to take down the organization that is spreading hate speech. Produced by the team behind Get Out, winner of the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 2018. Blackkklansman won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Festival.
Spike Lee
Born in 1957 in Atlanta, US. He is a director, screenwriter, producer and actor. His awarded films usually address social issues related to racial prejudice and the fight for civil rights. His biggest success, Do The Right Thing, was nominated for the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 1989, and won a number of awards around the world. In 2016, he received an Academy Honorary Award for his lifetime of work.
