Pacatuba, Ceará, 1980s. With the arrival of the VHS, Francisgleydisson sees himself forced to close his beloved Cine Holliúdy, jeopardizing his ability to pay for his son’s college, an 18-year-old. To fix the situation, he decides to produce an alien movie, using as actors the city’s residents.
HALDER GOMES
He is a director, producer and screenwriter from Ceará, and a partner at ATC Entretenimentos. He became known after releasing the feature film Cine Holliúdy (2013), a comedy situated in the 1970s, in the countryside of Ceará. He majored in business from the University of Fortaleza and holds a graduate degree in Marketing. He also directed Shaolin do Sertão (2016) and Os parças (2017).
