Artistic creation is commonly regarded as a mysterious process. In this film, we follow the work days of eleven filmmakers and screenwriters, bringing to light their imagination, their passions and the magic of each one’s creative process – among them, Mexican Guillermo Arriaga, Frenchmen Jacques Audiard and Michel Godry, Englishman John Boorman and Serbian Emir Kusturica. These are poetic journeys that seek inspiration in each one’s style. All the interviewees have in common the will to bring art cinema to as many viewers as possible. Venice Film Festival 2012.
Noelle Deschamps
In 1993, she founded eQuinoxe, a writing workshop which gathered screenwriters, directors and movie professionals all over the world. Her directorial debut is a result of this experience. She has also produced the shorts Prana (2008) and Echo of Echo (2009). This is first feature.
