Dr. Drauzio Varella engages in a hypothetical
conversation with his friend Hector Babenco, a filmmaker who passed away in 2016. The importance of friendship is addressed in this documentary with his friend’s death as a starting point. This short film is an extension of the documentary Mr. Babenco (2018), also directed by Bárbara Paz.
Bárbara Paz
She is an actress, director and producer. She attended the Macunaíma Theater School and Antunes Filho’s Theater Research Center, and joined the theatre group Grupo Tapa. As a recognition for her career as an actress, she was awarded the 2013 Medalha Cavaleiro by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture.
