​The life of Marco "Curumim" Archer changed drama­tically when 13.5 kg of cocaine hidden in his hang glider were discovered by the police in the international airport of Jakarta, Indonesia. Eleven years later, he became the first Brazilian to ever be executed for drug trafficking. This documentary offers an intimate journey through the life of a bold, charismatic and irreverent man who opted for the easy and glamorous life of an international drug dealer. Marco repented and during the 11 years he was in the death row he believed he deserved a second chance to start over.​

Marcos Prado

​Born in Rio de Janeiro, he is a founding partner of Zazen Produções. He directed the documentary Estamira (2006), winner of 33 national and international awards, and Artificial Paradises (2012). He produced Elite Squad (2007), Golden Bear winner at the Berlin Film Festival, and Elite Squad II (2010), the biggest audience in the history of Brazilian cinema, as well as the award-winning documentary Bus 174 (2002).​
