Rogéria, Jane Di Castro, Divina Valéria, Camille K, Eloína dos Leopardos, Fujika de Halliday, Marquesa and Brigitte de Búzios are icons of the first generation of transvestite Brazilian artists. From a look at their intimate relationship with the director and her family theater, a stage with an important role in their career paths, we follow these characters during the process of preparing a show to celebrate 50 years of their career. The film suggests an understanding of their lives as works of art, but also as a political act in Brazil’s yesterday and today.
