​Buenos Aires, 1971. Carlitos is a seventeen-year-old youth who early on discovers his true calling - to be a thief. When he meets Ramon at his new school, Carlitos is immediately drawn to him. Together they will embark on a journey of discoveries, love and crime, which continues to escalate until Carlitos is finally apprehended. This is a fictional portrait of the true Carlos Robledo Puch, the serial killer known as The Angel of Death and Argentina’s longest serving prisoner. The film was nominated for Queer Palm and the Un Certain Regard awards at the 2018
Cannes Festival.​

Luis Ortega

​Born in 1980 in Buenos Aires. He is a screenwriter and director. He studied cinema at the Universidad de Cine. He wrote the screenplay of his first feature film (Black Box, 2002) at the age of 19, winning awards at a number of international festivals, such as Miami and Mar del Plata. His filmography also includes the critically acclaimed Monobloc (2005) and Dromómanos (2012).​
