​The first spoken film was directed by Alice Guy. The first color film was produced by Lois Weber. Frances Marion wrote screenplays for Hollywood star Mary Pickford and won two Oscars in the category. Dorothy Arzner was the most powerful director of the American film industry. But what do they all have in common? They are women and have been forgotten. In spite of being underrepresented, women have often been the protagonists behind the scenes in Hollywood. This documentary aims to find out the untold story of these heroines. Cannes, 2016.​
