​It’s summertime in Buenos Aires, and Marcela sister has suddenly passed away. As Marcela grieves, she must also face the painful process of purging her sister’s apartment of posessions, photographs, family heirlooms. When a young friend of her daughter’s, Nacho, offers to help her, she finds unexpected comfort and their relationship develops as they go on road trips and adventures together. During these difficult and confusing days, Marcela’s past and present become intertwined and she begins to question her sense of self, as the imminence of everyday life pushes in. Locarno 2018. María Alché

María Alché

​Born in Buenos Aires, in 1983. She studied Philosophy at Buenos Aires University. She has starred in numerous films, most notably The Holy Girl (2004), directed by Lucrecia Martel. She also directed several short films, shown in festivals such as Locarno, San Sebastiaìn, New Directors, New Films (NY), Bafici, La Havana and other. This is her first feature as a director.
