​May 2016. A group of 11 women set off from a village in the extreme north of Portugal on pilgrimage to Fátima. They walk 400 kilometers on foot over nine days, crossing half of Portugal in a great effort to fulfill their promises. The extreme fatigue, suffering and physical limitations of each one of them lead to moments of rupture. Then they reveal their deeper identities and motivations. When arriving in Fatima, in the midst of enormous exhaustion, each one will have to find her own way to redemption. Rotterdam Film Festival 2018.​

João Canijo

​He was an assistant director to Manoel de Oliveira and Wim Wenders. His first feature, Three Less Me, was at the Rotterdam in 1988. Thirty years later, he has directed eight films presented at the most important international film festivals: Lovely Child (1989), Black Shoes (1997), Get a Life (Cannes 2000), In the Darkness of the Night (Cannes 2003), Misbegotten (Venice 2007), Blood of my Blood (San Sebastian 2011) and That's Love (2013). ​
