​Ferrante Fever gives life to Elena Ferrante’s literary production, the Italian writer of the acclaimed 4-part series “Neapolitan Novels”, with books published across the globe. An author who, despite her international success, remains anonymous. Through lectures, readings and interpretations and with testimonies from writers, critics, directors, booksellers and publishers, this documentary by Italian Giacomo Durzi helps explore Elena Ferrante’s deeply intimate writing while offering tools that outline her mysterious identity.​

​Born in Italy in 1976. After studying Law, he took courses at the London Film School and graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. He is a writer, director and producer. Over the years, he has written and directed documentaries for NBC Studio Universal, Rai, History Channel, Channel 4 and MTV Europe. As a screenwriter, he wrote feature films and TV series.​
