A documentary portrait of Gare du Nord, France's busiest train station. Numerous people cross it every day, coming from the suburbs, the provinces, or foreign countries. The director strolls through Gare du Nord in the company of Simon Merabet, an Algerian friend. Suddenly, the crowd comes to life through all of the crossing stories. While going through all this, Merabet remembers he is the son of immigrants. Shot back-to-back with the fictional Gare du Nord, also a feature in this edition of Rio Festival.
