​Adam spends his summer holidays with his parents by Lake Superior, the largest lake in North America. His tedious routine is interrupted when he becomes closer to his cousins, the clever Riley and Nate. Together they spend the day making fun of others and recklessly climbing mountains. The revelation of a painful secret will make Adam see the world from another perspective. While the young man faces an irreversible series of events, bonds of friendship will be tested, changing the three boys forever. Critics’ Week at Cannes and Toronto 2015.​

Andrew Cividino

​Born in Dunda, Ontario. He studied cinema at the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University. His short We Ate the Children Last (2011) was shown at Toronto and Clermon-Ferrand festivals. His most recent short, Sleeping Giant (2014), which won the Young Jury Prize at Locarno, gave rise to this his first feature. ​
