On the day of his 5 year wedding anniversary Nick discovers that his wife Amy has gone missing under mysterious circumstances. It doesn’t take long for the police and media to be suspicious of the all too perfect marriage, and point to Nick as the main suspect. His lies and his strange behavior just make the situation worse. But what has really happened to Amy? Based on the best-selling novel by Gillian Flynn, who also wrote the screenplay, the film marks the first collaboration between director David Fincher (Fight Club, The Social Network) and Ben Affleck (Argo, Chasing Amy).
David Fincher
Nasceu em 1962 em Denver, EUA. Começou sua carreira dirigindo comerciais e videoclipes de artistas como Mark Knopfler, Roy Orbison e Madonna. Seu primeiro longa foi Alien 3 (1992). Desde então, dirigiu filmes de sucesso como Seven (1995), Clube da luta (1999), Zodíaco (2007) e Millennium: Os homens que não amavam as mulheres (2011). Foi indicado ao Oscar de melhor diretor por O curioso caso de Benjamin Button (2008) e A rede social (2010).
