The ‘World of Lygia Clark’ Cultural Association, founded by Alvaro Clark, her son, put together a major retrospective of the artist’s work in New York, in partnership with MoMA. The film tells Clark’s story, from her first paintings to her sensory and therapeutic phase, reaffirming her importance and strength in the art world.

Nasceu em 1959, no Rio de Janeiro. Cenógrafa e diretora, foi parceira de grande parte das criações do diretor Gerald Thomas. No cinema, codirigiu Terra estrangeira (1996), O primeiro dia (1998) e Linha de passe (2007) com Walter Salles. Em parceria com Felipe Hirsch, codirigiu Insolação (2009).
