​Rio de Janeiro, 2016. The hottest summer in history. The city is getting ready for the Olympic Games. Ana, a 32-year-old public defender, works for a community threatened with displacement due to the construction of the Olympic Park. At the same time, mysterious spots appear on her skin. Strange things begin to happen around the city and in Ana's body. The temperature rises, creating a humid and
suffocating atmosphere. The humidity increases, building up for a storm.​

Marina Meliande

​Director, producer and editor, she was born in 1980 in Rio de Janeiro. A graduate from the Federal Fluminense University, she directed, with Felipe Bragança, two short films and three feature films screened at international festivals such as Cannes, Rotterdam and Locarno. From 2007 to 2009, she was a resident artist at the Center for Contemporary Art Le Fresnoy. As an editor, she worked on more than 50 films, such as Swirl, Olmo & the Seagull and Pendule.​
