Most of the Pakistani families in London arrived with Margaret Thatcher’s promises of a better life. Nasser has a number of small businesses and do whatever it takes to make money, even if it's illegal. Among his business there is a laundry headed by Omar, his nephew. Interested in making the business grow, Omar employs a friend from school, the punk Johnny. Little by little, a passion is born between the two. Oscar nominee for best original screenplay.
