Olivier does his best to fight injustices at work. But all of a sudden his wife Laura leaves the family and he finds himself alone having to deal with his kids’ needs, life challenges and work demands. Facing these new responsibilities, he and his kids struggle to find balance while waiting for Laura’s return. This feature film by Belgium director Guillaume Senez was screened at a special session at the 2018 Cannes Festival Critics’ Week.
Guillaume Senez
Born in 1978 in Belgium. He wrote and directed short films screened at several festivals. His first feature, Keeper (2016), was screened at over 70 festivals (including Toronto, Locarno and Angers) and received more than 20 awards. In 2018, his second feature, Our Struggles, was screened at a special session at the Cannes Festival’s Critics’ Week.
