​The drought in Sao Paulo is the starting point of the journey. Unsettled by images of empty reservoirs in southeastern Brazil, a documentarist tries to understand these Pharaonic constructions, now being built in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. Between rivers Xingu, Tapajós, and Ene, voices of riparians, fishermen, and indigenous populations echo as they are trampled by the arrival of what we call development.
