Over the last decade, democracies as distinct as Brazil, the United States, France, Egypt and Ukraine have been seized by street protests that had dissatisfaction with traditional politics as a unifying element. Governments fell by force or by electoral route. Still, the crisis is still alive, producing world-baffling results. The documentary seeks to overcome this bafflement, with the help of intellectuals and political players such as Jacques Rancière, J.C. Monedero, Angela Alonso and Yascha Mounk.
