​Owner of a unique style, the talented drummer Wilson das Neves (1936-2017) played with Chico Buarque and many other renown artists in Brazilian music. Faithful to the colors of the Serrano Empire, during his solo career he proved himself to be a first class sambista, perhaps one of the last great masters of the genre. From the back of the stage, the place reserved for his instrument of choice, he owned the proscenium has won prizes and conquered international recognition. In the film, the artist shares the the audience’s attention with distinguished colleagues such as Aluisio Machado, Chico Buarque, Elza Soares and Paulo César Pinheiro.​
