Ruth and Alex have been married for decades and have lived in the same apartment in Brooklyn for 40 years. They can’t imagine living anywhere else, but when Ruth’s niece convinces them that the neighbourhood has gone up in value hugely and their apartment could earn them a lot of money, they decide to let her put it on the market. What the couple didn’t imagine was that the simple act of selling the apartment would become a chaotic adventure that, though frightening, will make their bond even stronger. Richard Loncraine
Nasceu em 1946, na Inglaterra. Antes de entrar para o cinema, foi escultor. Trabalhou como diretor na rede de TV BBC. Seu primeiro longa foi o musical Slade in Flame (1975). Participou duas vezes da competição de Berlim, com Ricardo III (1995), premiado como melhor diretor, e Tudo por você (2009). Tem extenso trabalho em televisão, em séries e telefilmes como Band of Brothers (2001), The Gathering Storm (2002) e My House in Umbria (2003).
