In a conservative country like Iran, being a woman, a rapper, and a talent is a problem. Sonita, a young Afghan refugee, has to take a drastic decision when her family decides to take her back to Afghanistan to marry an older man and resolve their financial problems. With her beats and fierce rhymes she creates a true manifesto against forced marriage, calling the attention of powerful allies that may help her scape what seems an unavoidable fate.
