The friends Lucas, Emilio, and Rubén walk back home after a soccer game. They receive the news that a friend who played soccer with them hadpassed and, to attend the funeral, they must change clothes. While talking in a square, one of them pushes the other into a pile of dry leafs. He soon realizes that he lost the keys to his house and his girlfriend's car. The friends must then try to find it. The difficulty of the task added by the grief over the death of their friend, brings out conflicts, feelings of guilt, and the unconscious fear of becoming adults.
Alejandro Iglesias Mendizabal
1983, Mexico City, Mexico. He studied drama at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and film at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. He works as a director and editor in film, television, and advertising. Filmography: Contrafábula de Una Niña Disecada (short, Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival 2013). This is his first feature film as a director.
