The Leisure Seeker is the nickname of the old RV used by Ella and John Spencer to take vacations with their children in the 1970s. Nowadays, at old age and desperate to escape a destiny of medical care, the couple hop on board that vehicle and dashes towards Key West for a new adventure. Their trip through an America they no longer recognize — mixing hilarious moments with others of pure terror — is their chance to retrace a life of passion and devotion, but also by secret obsessions that abruptly resurface. Paolo Virzi
Nasceu em Livorno, Itália, em 1964. Estudou literatura e filosofia na Universidade de Pisa e roteiro no Centro Sperimentale di Cinematographia. Estreou na direção em 1994 com La bela vita, exibido no Festival de Veneza. Voltou ao festival italiano com Ovosodo (1997), vencedor do Grande Prêmio Especial do Júri. Entre seus filmes destacam-se ainda A primeira coisa bela (2010), Capital humano (2013) e Loucas de alegria (2016), entre outros.
