​When Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade decides to run for a third term - despite Senegalese constitution foreseeing only one reelection to the position - a resistance movement takes over the streets. Mobilized by the political situation in their country, a group of school friends, among them rappers Thiat and Kilifeu and filmmaker Rama Thiaw, team up to document events, meetings, campaigns, arrests, concerts, and trips from an "insider" point of view. The portrait of a country in uproar and of the youth fighting for new paths. Berlin Film Festival 2016.​

Rama Thiaw

1978, Nouakchott, Mauritania. She has a master’s degree in International Economics from Sorbonne University. Filmography: Boul Falle, The Wrestling Way (2009). This is her second feature film.​
