On a winter’s night, an accident changes the lives of a group of people. Tomas, a romantic, is not to blame for braking too late. Wim Wenders
Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1945. He studied at the University of TV and Film in Munich. He is one of the biggest names in German cinema, having made films such as The American Friend (1977), Tokyo-Ga (1985) and Wings of Desire (1987). Paris, Texas (1984) won the Palme D’Or in Cannes and The State of Things (1982) won the Gold Lion in Venice. He also directed documentaries as Buena Vista Social Club (1999), Pina (2011) and Salt of the Earth (2014).
