A man and a woman meet at a gallery exhibit and share a fleeting moment of mutual attraction. Days later, a second chance meeting takes them to a café and the two strangers – both married – are carried away by the inexplicable fascination they feel for each other. Svenja is curious and accepts to go to a motel with Roland, but does not consummate the affair. A high executive at the bank where Svenja’s husband works, Roland is used to having his way and decides to interfere with her husband’s transference to Indonesia. Unaware of Roland’s intrigues, Svenja is unable to resist any longer.
