Steve McQueen
Born in 1969 in London. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art, at the Goldsmiths College and at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. He is a director and screenwriter known for his feature Hunger (2008), awarded at the Cannes Festival, and 12 Years a Slave (2013), winner of an Academy Award for Best Picture and nominated for the Golden Globe Awards. Widows is his most recent film.
