We’re in Coney Island in the 1950s. Mickey, a lifeguard, tells us a story that just might be filtered through his vivid imagination: Humpty, a middle-aged carousel operator, and Ginny, his beleaguered wife who eke out a living on the boardwalk, are visited by his estranged daughter, Carolina. Woody Allen
Nasceu em 1935, em Nova York. É humorista, escritor e ator. Em 1977, realizou Noivo neurótico, noiva nervosa, vencedor de quatro Oscar, incluindo filme e direção. Cineasta prolífico, costuma lançar um filme por ano desde os anos 1970. Com A rosa púrpura do Cairo (1985), ganhou o prêmio da crítica em Cannes. Ganhou mais dois Oscar, pelos roteiros de Hannah e suas irmãs (1986) e Meia-noite em Paris (2011), além de outras 20 indicações.
