Steven Soderbergh's Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra, which premiered in competition during the Cannes film festival, recently took the top honours at this year's Emmy Awards.

The film, which has its Brazilian premiere during the festival, won three awards including best movie, a best actor award for Michael Douglas, and the best director of a movie Emmy for Soderbergh.

Behind the Candelabra is scheduled to screen at Esrtação Botafogo at midnight on 8 October and at 21.30 on 9 October at the Roxy in Copacabana. The Odeon Petrobras screening has been cancelled.
