Using diary excerpts, photographs and memories of his companions, the film paints a portrait of the German artist Jürgen Baldiga who sensitively and authentically captured the West Berlin queer scene of the 1980s and early 1990s with his camera. Panorama Berlin 2024.
Markus Stein
Born in 1965, lives in Berlin. After working as a photographer and director's assistant , he specialised in direction as the Polish Cinema School in Łódź. Since then has made documentaries and features as director, screenwriter, DP and editor.
