Produced over a period of six years, this documentary depicts the extraordinary life of activist, educator, producer, director and transsexual porn star Buck Angel. The film shows how Buck overcame drug addiction, low self-esteem, prostitution and many other obstacles to become someone much more special than just a man with a vagina, as he is known in the porn circuit. He is, since the 1990s, a director and producer of documentaries for several North-American TV networks, also shown in countries like Israel, Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Spain and Germany. He has directed, among other, After Stonewall (1999), Dangerous Living (2004), Cruel and Unusual (2006) and Bear Run (2008), the first depiction of bear community to be broadcast on national television. He also teaches in New York, where he lives.
