In 1971 during the conflicts in Northern Ireland, Gary, a British soldier is called to action in Belfast. On one of his first days in the capital his unit is ordered to inspect a residence. The operation culminates in a violent uprising in the streets and the new recruit is left behind. In the midst of urban chaos, Gary needs to survive and find his way back through an unfamiliar, disorienting and deadly landscape. Yann Demange
Nasceu em 1977 em Paris, mas foi criado em Londres. Estudou cinema na London College of Printing. Joe (2001), seu trabalho de formatura de 2001, foi selecionado pelo consulado britânico para exibição internacional em festivais. Além de comerciais e videoclipes, Demange dirigiu séries para o Channel 4 britânico, incluindo Secret Diary of a Call Girl (2007) e Dead Set (2008), série ganhadora do BAFTA . Este é seu primeiro longa.
