In Vidigal favela, Rita is preparing a party for her son Léo, who is going to be twelve. On the day of the celebration, she discovers that the boy's father, Dudu, has stolen the money for the party and has debts in the favela that could cost him his life. She has to find the money to fulfill the dream of celebrating their son's birthday and save Dudu's life.
Luciana Bezerra e Gustavo Melo
Luciana Bezerra is a screenwriter and director of Grupo Nós do Morro. She wrote and directed the episode Acende a Luz in 5x Favela, Agora por Nós Mesmos (2010). She co-directed the series How To Be a Carioca (Star+). Gustavo Melo teaches screenwriting and directing at Grupo Nós do Morro. He directed the short films O Jeito Brasileiro de Ser Português (2000), Picolé, Pintinho e Pipa (2006) and A Distração de Ivan (2009). Together they made the documentary 7 Cortes de Cabelo no Congo (2022).
