Stuck in a precarious job, Julia, a casino worker at Comodoro Rivadavia in Argentina, becomes interested when Gwynfor, a blowhard descendant of Gauls, promises her an administrative position at the oil company he works at. When she realizes the mistake of believing in such a proposal, she is already in the middle of the desert and will begin an arduous journey on foot through the Patagonia plateau next to Gwynfor.
