Michael Stone, husband, father and the respected author of How Can I Help You Help Yourself?, is a man bothered by his own routine. During a trip to Cincinnati, where he is scheduled to give a lecture, he is surprised when he faces an scape to his desperation: Lisa, an unpretentious sales rep, who may or may not be the love of his life. Kaufman nasceu em 1958, em Nova York. Estreou como diretor em 2008 com Sinédoque, Nova York, exibido na competição de Cannes. Johnson nasceu em 1979, em St. Louis, EUA. Dirigiu o curta Marrying God (2006) e episódios de séries como Moral Orel e Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole.
