Manuel, a worker at a textile factory, happens to meets Estrella, a rumba dancer who offers him money in return for his help; he immediately refuses. When his father dies and he needs money for the burial, he seeks her out and she puts him in touch with El Gitano, a gangster who ends up putting him into the gang. In participating in the robbery of the factory where he worked, he incriminates his old boss, who is the father of the girl he is in love with.
