For fun, three adolescents decide to miss the last day of school before the vacation. Their adventures take them to Blackwood Studios, an abandoned film studio on the edge of the city. There they witness a crime: a man with a clown mask removes a chained and bloodied woman out of the trunk of a car and drags her through the parking lot. The three boys manage to escape and try to draw the attention of the authorities, who do not believe their story. Upon returning to their homes, the three discover in the worst way that the murderer and his father are on their trail. SXSW 2014 .
Julien Maury, Alexandre Bustillo
Nasceram na França, Maury em 1978 e Bustillo em 1975. Conheceram-se após a faculdade e passaram a trabalhar juntos. O primeiro longa-metragem da dupla foi A invasora, que ganhou quatro prêmios no Festival de Sitges 2007 e foi exibido no Festival de Cannes. Seu segundo longa, Livide, de 2011, foi premiado no Festival de Puchon 2012. Assinam juntos um dos episódios de O ABC da morte 2, também presente nesta edição do festival.
