Something strange is circling the Earth. Some people are seeing dragons that shouldn’t enter the human world. In face of these strange events, Ged, a nomad wizard, decides to investigate. On his journey he meets Prince Arren, a perturbed teenager. Arren seems like a shy boy, but he has a dark side that gives him strength, an implacable hatred that has no mercy, especially when it comes to protecting Teru, an orphan. The witch Kumo decides to use Teru as bait against Arren, and only Ged will be able to help him overcome his fears. Based on Ursula K. Le Guin’s books.
Goro Miyazaki
Nasceu em 1967, em Tóquio. Estudou agricultura na Universidade Shinshu. Filho de Hayao Miyazaki, nunca quis se envolver com cinema. Foi convidado para projetar o museu do Studios Ghibli, e logo foi convencido a integrar a equipe de animação e a dirigir o filme seguinte da produtora, Contos de Terramar (2006), aos 39 anos – mesma idade do pai ao dirigir seu primeiro longa. Dirigiu Da colina Kokuriko (2011), melhor animação no Tokyo Anime Award.
