Nasceu na França e estudou cinema na Columbia University em Nova York. Coproduziu e coeditou o documentário Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008), sobre o estilista italiano Valentino Garavani. Em 2011, foi roteirista, codiretor e coeditor de Diana Vreeland: O olhar tem que viajar, sobre a fotógrafa de moda e editora da Harper’s Bazaar. Este é o primeiro longa que assina sozinho.
