A rock band that has just recorded their conceptual and very intimate album, travel to the countryside to film their music videos. During filming, they find an old abandoned gold mine guarded by a local god, an ancient stone idol used to scare the miners. Soon after, a terrible spirit awakens and forces each of the band members to relive past traumatic events that inspired their music. The film unfolds in three chapters, each dedicated to one of the band members and a song from the album.
Gustavo Hernandez
Nasceu em 1973 no Uruguai. Formado pela Escola de Cinema do Uruguai, dirigiu dez curtas-metragens e diversos videoclipes de bandas uruguaias como NTGV e La Vela Puerca. Em 2009, dirigiu seu primeiro longa, A casa, selecionado para diversos festivais internacionais, incluindo a Quinzena dos Realizadores de Cannes. Dirigiu e produziu a série de TV Adicciones e fundou a produtora independente Mother Superior.
