Fernando Trueba e Javier Mariscal
Fernando Trueba is a Spanish film director and writer, as well as a music producer. With almost 50 years of career, he directed films such as Opera Prima (1980, Venice) and Sedução (1992, Berlinale). Javier Mariscal is known primarily as a visual artist, particularly as a painter, sculptor, and product designer. His directorial debut was an episode of The Cobi Troupe (1991). Fernando and Javier directed, with Tono Errando, Chico & Rita (2010), nominated for an Oscar.
